Housing Expectations

What We Expect From Residents

  •

Peach Pathway is designed for adults who are able to live independently.

Residents are responsible for managing their own:

    • Personal hygiene and daily living needs

    • Medications and healthcare

    • Transportation

    • Meals and food preparation

    • Laundry

    • Finances

    • Employment, education, or personal goals

    • Personal belongings

    • Daily schedule

Peach Pathway does not provide nursing care, medication administration, personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, medical treatment, or continuous supervision.

  • Peach Pathway is committed to maintaining a substance-free environment.

Residents may not possess, use, or distribute alcohol or illegal drugs on or around Peach Pathway property.

Depending on the resident's housing or program agreement, reasonable accountability measures may

include substance screening and participation in appropriate community-based supportive resources.

Residents are encouraged to build healthy support systems through resources that align with

their individual goals, including counseling, outpatient programs, peer-support groups, recovery meetings,

    faith-based resources, or community organizations.

  • Our goal is to provide more than a place to stay. We want residents to have an

environment where they can establish stability, strengthen independence, and continue moving forward.

Residents are expected to pursue productive activities appropriate to their circumstances, which may include:

    • Employment or active job searching

    • Education or vocational training

    • Volunteer service

    • Counseling or outpatient programs

    • Recovery-related activities

    • Other approved personal-development goals

  • Everyone plays a role in maintaining the home.

Residents are expected to keep their personal sleeping areas clean and participate

in maintaining shared spaces. Responsibilities may include kitchen and bathroom cleaning,

sweeping and mopping, trash removal, organizing common areas, and maintaining personal food-storage areas.

A rotating chore schedule may be used to ensure responsibilities are shared fairly.

  • Residents are expected to maintain reasonable schedules and communicate responsibly.

Specific curfew, visitor, and overnight-pass procedures are explained during orientation and included in

the Resident Handbook. Employment schedules and other approved obligations will be reasonably considered.

Visitors are welcome during approved hours but must follow Peach Pathway expectations.

Residents are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

  • Residents are responsible for independently managing their healthcare, including

obtaining, storing, and taking medications as prescribed and scheduling and attending medical,

behavioral health, dental, and other appointments.

Peach Pathway does not prescribe, dispense, administer, or manage medications.

  • Peach Pathway is part of the surrounding community, and we want every

residence to be a positive part of its neighborhood.

Residents are expected to maintain reasonable noise levels, follow parking requirements,

keep outdoor areas clean, respect neighboring property, and avoid behavior that disrupts the surrounding community.

  • Residents are responsible for paying agreed-upon housing fees according to their signed residency agreement.

Before move-in, residents receive clear information regarding applicable housing fees, payment dates,

deposits or administrative fees, included amenities, late-payment procedures, refund policies, and

    financial responsibility for property damage.
